A learning difficulty affects how the brain takes in, organizes, and uses information. Having a learning difficulty definitely affects students’ academic achievement. It does not go away and students will not "Grow out of it." However, the good news is that it is possible to work with students to ensure that they achieve their full potential. At the Tutor Shop, we are able to provide individualized academic support which offers children and youth the opportunities to succeed. We have a range of LD specific resources thatcan be adapted to meet the needs of each students.
